The Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) is the required training for individuals looking to legally own or usenon-restricted firearmsin Canada—such as most rifles and shotguns used for hunting and sport shooting.

Course Format

- Includes: Classroom instruction, hands-on firearm handling (non-functional training models), and both written and practical exams
- Certification: Upon passing both exams, you'll receive a course report form to include with your PAL application
No prior experience is required. This course must be completed before taking the CRFSC.
